Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers safely to and from the LifeWise site. Ideal candidates demonstrate responsibility, punctuality, and a clean driving record, with required background checks and periodic drug testing.

Eligible drivers must have a CDL with passenger endorsement (P); school bus endorsement is preferred. Must be 21–80 years old and participate in LifeWise Academy training and activities as available.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P).
• School bus endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in the last five years.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.
• Age 21–80; annual CDL license verification if over 75.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment and assist students entering/exiting the bus.
• Complete training required by LifeWise Academy and volunteer in the classroom when possible.
