Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise CDL bus driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site.

The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and maintains a clean driving record. CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) is required; school bus endorsement (S) is preferred. This is a part-time role with standard background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• CDL license with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• School bus endorsement (S) preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in past 5 years.
• Undergo background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain safety of the bus.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus; perform regular inspections.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed and ensure safe environment for students.
• Assist students entering/exiting the vehicle and enforce safety rules.
• Complete training required by LifeWise Academy; volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if approved.
