Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate will be punctual, possess a clean driving record, and align with LifeWise beliefs.

Required is a CDL with passenger endorsement (P) and a willingness to undergo background and MVR checks, as well as regular drug testing. The role involves transporting students and volunteers and maintaining safety and cleanliness of the bus.

Qualifications

• A mature Christian faith in line with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active church involvement and alignment with LifeWise Statement of Faith.
• CDL license with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required
• School bus endorsement preferred
• Clean driving record with no major incidents in 5 years
• Background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse check required
• Annual drug and/or alcohol testing as required

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Ensure a calm, caring demeanor and assist students as required.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training and participate in classroom volunteering if agreed
