Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to safely transport students to and from the LifeWise site. You will maintain a clean bus, perform inspections, enforce safety rules, assist students, and complete required trainings.

Requirements include CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (school bus endorsement preferred), a clean driving record, background check, drug testing, and age 21–80 with faith alignment as described in the LifeWise Statement of Faith.

Qualifications

• CDL driver’s license with passenger vehicle endorsement; school bus endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.
• Ages 21–80; annual CDL license copy and (P) endorsement for drivers over 75.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
