Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers safely between the LifeWise site and various locations. The role requires a clean driving record, a CDL with passenger endorsement, and successful completion of a background check and drug testing.

The driver must be mature, punctual, and maintain a professional demeanor while enforcing safety rules and assisting students as needed.

Qualifications

• Faith commitment to LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• CDL license in good standing with endorsement for passenger vehicle (P).
• Driver must have been licensed for the past three years.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in 5 years.
• Background check conducted by LifeWise Academy.
• Annual drug and/or alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refueling as needed.
• Create a safe environment and assist students getting on/off the bus.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training and participate as directed by staff.
