Job summary

Office Depot, Inc. is seeking a part-time Retail Team Lead to drive sales across products, technology, services, furniture and print offerings.

You will build strong customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor, while supporting a customer-centric environment and a positive store culture aligned with Office Depot 5C values. You will also assist in leading through busy periods, handle opening/closing responsibilities as a Key Carrier, and ensure store operations and loss-prevention

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience; sales and/or customer service preferred.
• Basic computer skills; able to use job-related technology and POS systems.
• Attention to detail and, ideally, experience in Print Services.
• Advanced selling skills and strong customer focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Print Sales: support efficient operation and drive store sales in Print Services.
• Operates and assists with equipment in Print Services to complete orders correctly and on time.
• Coordinate service for customers across the store using proper communication tools.
• Operational Efficiency: process merchandise accurately and meet visual standards.
• Identify process improvements and reduce waste; support loss prevention with colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with policies; contribute to sales and profitability through metrics.
• Client Engagement: coach and train associates to improve customer experience.
• Support community outreach to drive client retention and strengthen relationships.
• External Key Carrier & Leader on Duty: maintain safety when management is absent; perform opening/closing duties.
