Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager at the Saint Cloud, MN location to lead a high-performing selling culture and deliver strong customer experiences. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach a team, and drive KPIs while ensuring adherence to SOPs and brand standards.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, hands-on coaching, and the ability to manage store programs, POS operations, and omni-channel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs for legal compliance.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coachCustomer Experience and ART of Selling to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs like Balloons, birthday parties, and events.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and repeat visits.
• Champion MCC/Extend services and customer adoption of protection plans.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience.
• Ensure efficient BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Support Custom Framing operations including consultations and coordination with frame shop.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection to reduce shrink and enhance safety.
