Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus - Respiratory Therapy Services is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for night shifts. The role involves administering treatments, monitoring ventilators, documenting care, and coordinating with the healthcare team. RRT certification and state licensure are required, with a BS/BA preferred.

Sign-on bonus eligibility is noted. The position offers 24 hours per week with night scheduling in a busy department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent).
• BA/BS or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates oxygen delivery systems and related equipment to achieve adequate oxygenation.
• Administers and monitors prescribed respiratory procedures and performs diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Sets up, monitors and adjusts mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes recommendations for plans of care and patient education.
• Documents therapy and communicate results to the healthcare team.
