Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for our High Point, NC campus. This Full Time night shift role involves delivering respiratory therapies and airway support to patients, adhering to age-appropriate standards and hospital policies.

Experience as an RRT with NBRC registration and NC licensure is required, along with BLS; PALS/NRP and ACLS within 90 days. A $20,000 sign-on bonus and up to $8,000 relocation assistance are available to qualified

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC and NC licensure to practice as an RCP.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• PALS and NRP required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapies following age-appropriate standards of care and department policies.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Reports routine clinical procedures to relief personnel to ensure continuity of care.
