Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC is required.
• Current state license as Respiratory Care Practitioner/Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery methods and related equipment and conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures.
• Administers and monitors therapies and performs diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilation; evaluates and adjusts therapies as needed.
• Documents therapy and communicates results to the healthcare team.
• Performs respiratory care procedures in emergencies and supports patient care across departments.
