Advocate Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 36-hour work week on a full-time night Schedule. You will work in Respiratory Therapy Services, delivering oxygen therapy, ventilator management and patient care following hospital standards.

Qualified candidates will be AMA-approved school graduates with RRT credentials and BLS. A sign-on bonus is available, and benefits include health coverage, retirement plans and education support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and applies oxygen delivery methods and equipment for prescribed therapies.
• Administers therapies, monitors and documents results per policy and safety guidelines.
• Operates and maintains ventilators and monitors patient responses.
• Evaluates therapies and makes care-plans recommendations with the team.
• Performs blood sampling analysis and reports critical values.
• Ensures accurate documentation in EMR and communicates with care team.
