Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist at Atrium Health Cabarrus Respiratory Therapy Services for a full-time night shift schedule (7pm–7am). The role emphasizes oxygen delivery, ventilator management, and critical care procedures to support patient care.

Applicants must be a nationally credentialed RRT with NBRC and hold current licensure in the state. BLS certification is required, with BS/BA preferred and a sign-on bonus eligible for this position.

Qualifications

• RRT credentialed by NBRC and licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the practicing state.
• BLS for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association required.
• Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program; associate degree required; BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors oxygen delivery systems and therapeutic modalities.
• Administers prescribed respiratory therapies and performs related diagnostic procedures.
• Manages mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; understands critical care duties and effects.
• Evaluates and adjusts current therapies with proper clinical judgment and patient education.
• Documents therapy and results; communicates with the healthcare team.
