Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus - Respiratory Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for night shifts (7p–7a), 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus eligible. The role requires RRT credentials, license in the state, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include managing oxygen delivery, ventilators, and diagnostic procedures, documenting outcomes, and coordinating with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent).
• BSRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains oxygen delivery systems and respiratory equipment.
• Performs prescribed respiratory procedures and diagnostic assessments as per policy.
• Starts and monitors ventilators and non-invasive ventilation.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes care recommendations.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the care team.
• Conducts and analyzes respiratory samples and communicates findings.
• Works independently across care areas and uses EMR interfaces.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and completes regulatory requirements.
