Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus Respiratory Therapy Services is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to provide safe oxygen delivery, ventilator support, and patient care in a 7p-7a shift.

The role requires NBRC-credentialed RRT, active state licensure, an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy (BSRT preferred), and relevant critical care experience. Sign-on bonus eligible and benefits-eligible.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Current state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner/Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required; BA/BS preferred.
• 2 years critical care experience required for Free-Standing ED; otherwise new graduates with RRT credentials eligible.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor oxygen delivery and ventilation therapy.
• Perform diagnostic procedures per policy and document results.
• Initiate and manage mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.
• Evaluate therapies and modify plans of care as needed.
• Document therapy results and communicate with health care team.
