Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-focused outcomes.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care and supports staff.
• Respond to patient emergencies as lead or charge for disasters.
• Collaborate with staffing office to adjust staff for census changes.
• Communicate census, admissions, discharges, and issues to the oncoming Charge Nurse.
• Support unit management in productivity, staffing, and timekeeping.
• Participate in hospital committees as unit representative.
• Promote Intermountain Health's mission and values; adhere to service standards.
• May float to other departments within competency; may be placed on-call during shifts.
