Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, person-centered care for residents at our Springfield, VA community. You will collaborate with a clinical team to support daily living, adhere to nursing standards, and promote residents’ independence.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience caring for seniors or cognitively impaired is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web applications.
• CPR certification required; current BLS CPR must be maintained or trained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about condition, medication, and self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Work with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
