Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time day and evening shifts. The RN will promote, restore, and maintain residents' health by collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland
• Minimum 6 months RN experience
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards
• Promote independence by setting care goals and teaching residents and families
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care
• Maintain infection prevention, administer medications, and follow orders
• Develop holistic care plans in collaboration with the team
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager
