Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a Part-time Patient Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join the Revenue Cycle Services team. This role focuses on back-end Revenue Cycle tasks such as charge review, billing, denial management, and cash reconciliation, with potential front-end backup.

The position is 20 hours per week with a hybrid schedule. Preferred candidates have 4–6 years of relevant experience and familiarity with EHR software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant Revenue Cycle experience (e.g., front desk, operations, scheduling, billing)
• Experience with charge review, follow-up, and denial management is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Perform back-end Revenue Cycle activities including charge review, billing, follow-up, and denial management
• Handle claims, 835 processing, and payer interactions
• Assist with banking interactions, cash reconciliation, and bad debt handling
• Provide customer service and back up front-end Revenue Cycle tasks as needed
