Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry seeks a Patient Revenue Cycle Lead Coordinator to join the General Practice Residency & Graduate Prosthodontics teams. You will perform patient scheduling, check-in, ensure data accuracy, and support revenue cycle tasks in a busy clinical setting.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, collecting payments, coordinating with patient care teams, and training staff on updates to processes and systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years scheduling patient appointments in a medical or dental setting (or 4 years of billing).
• Working knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) software; detail oriented and organized.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as receptionist in clinics: patient scheduling, check-in, and phone coverage.
• Verify insurance and coverage, collect payments, and update patient data in EHR systems.
• Coordinate with care team and disseminate information to clinicians and staff.
• Assist Manager with scheduling templates and process improvements as needed.
