Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Baxter, MN is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensuring execution of brand standards and SOPs. You will coach and develop team members, provide MOD coverage, manage POS and Self-Checkout, oversee events like balloons and knit & sew, promote loyalty, and drive omni-channel fulfillment including BOPIS

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage front-end and service operations.
• Strong customer-focused coaching and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead store with SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide MOD coverage and floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations.
• Manage in-store programs (Balloons, Birthday events) and knit & sew shop.
• Drive loyalty enrollment and omni-channel fulfillment (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Support framing operations where applicable.
• Train and develop team; uphold asset protection.
