Job summary

Goodwill Store seeks a part-time Material Handler to move and process donations and merchandise. You will load/unload donations, sort and price goods, stock shelves, and assist customers and donors according to store needs. Training and weekend/evening hours apply.

Starting pay is $16.94 per hour with growth opportunities; benefits include sick leave, retirement plan, and EAP programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required; 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and containers as directed using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks or stackers.
• Assist donors and customers with loading/unloading donations and purchases.
• Sort, price and prepare newly arrived goods for sale.
• Stock shelves and prepare shipping documentation for items shipped from premises.
• Load and unload Goodwill trucks and secure crates during transport.
• Assist at designated outlets with fixtures, donations, and related duties as needed.
