Goodwill Industries Southern New England Inc. is seeking a Retail Material Handler to move materials, assist donors, and help customers with purchases in a store or outlet setting. You will sort, price, and prepare goods for processing and display, under the supervision of the Store/Outlet Manager.

The role may require weekends, holidays, and evening hours typical to retail. Cross-training for janitorial and other duties may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required; and one to three months related experience or training.
• Students under 18 may be hired part-time but may not operate hazardous equipment and must follow CT DOL hours rules for minors.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and assist with loading/unloading from trucks.
• Assist donors by carrying donated merchandise into the store and help customers with purchases.
• Sort, price and grade goods, and prepare shipping documentation.
