Job summary

Amazon in Irvine, CA is hiring a Retail Lead Associate (Reduced-Time) to support Customer Experience Operations. You will interact with customers, use inventory systems, and help lead floor operations while maintaining safety and service standards.

The role requires open availability Tue-Sat 12:45pm–7:15pm, lifting up to 49 pounds, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $21.35 per hour with benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in retail or customer-facing roles, or 1+ years as floor leader or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience with Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers using engagement strategies and model desired behaviors.
• Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and count product.
• Provide peer-to-peer feedback and assist peers with issues.
• Contribute to customer experience improvements and best practices.
• Support manager in maintaining site safety and quality standards.
• Work in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
