Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Retail Lead Associate (Reduced-Time) in Chandler, AZ to support customer experience operations. The role requires open availability 6:45–13:15 with 30–39 hours weekly; you will assist with customer service operations, floor leader duties, and safety standards while adapting to a fast-changing environment.

The position offers starting pay at $18.05 per hour with benefits and may include shift differentials and overtime where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail or customer-facing experience or 1+ years floor leader or leadership, or 1+ years Amazon experience.
• Experience in training others.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers using engagement strategies and model desired behavior.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count product.
• Provide peer-to-peer feedback and escalate issues to assist peers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer experience and operations.
• Identify barriers and trends affecting customer and associate experience; support the manager.
• Maintain the physical safety and quality standards of the site.
• Work in a fast changing and ambiguous environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk up to 12 hours, push/pull, squat, bend, reach, and climb stairs.
