Family Dollar in Preston, Minnesota is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle cash transactions, maintain stock, and keep the store clean and organized.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods. Part-time schedule; on-site in Preston, MN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform general housekeeping such as bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
