Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time hours may apply in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly customer service in a retail setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret store operational documents.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and performing physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
