Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, restock merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness. The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Experience in retail or related fields is preferred. This is a part-time on-site position with opportunities to grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading and stock replenishment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
