Family Dollar in Bangor, ME is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help stock the store while maintaining cleanliness.

This part-time role requires a friendly, reliable team member with good communication and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and you will join a team that prioritizes safety and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presenting areas.
