Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience is preferred. You’ll lift up to 50 lbs, work with a friendly team, and contribute to a safe, positive store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate cash register.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
