The UPS Store in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to help run daily store operations, including supervision, cost control, and reporting. The role emphasizes motivating a team to deliver world-class customer service and supporting the Center Manager to meet targets.

This part-time position requires 25–30 hours weekly across Monday through Saturday, with responsibilities spanning personnel, scheduling, inventory, and operations, including opening/closing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of retail store operations experience.
• P&L experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Excellent listening and customer service skills.
• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Willing and able to work 25–30 hours per week for a 6-day work week.

Responsabilités

• Help with personnel management, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates.
• Schedule work assignments and facilitate weekly or monthly staff meetings.
• Monitor, evaluate, and help maximize customer service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Help develop and implement the store marketing program.
• Help manage Center financials and prepare/provide reporting.
• Manage inventory.
• Review daily employee timesheets and submit for payroll processing.
• Oversee Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
