Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. NWK-FLEMINGTON, NJ store is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain in-stock shelves with planograms to support our brand promises. You will participate in BOPIS and Ship From Store, enroll customers in the Rewards program, and assist with VOC surveys while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find products
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties, maintain planograms and store recovery
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Engage customers on rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers in programs
• Support store safety, SOPs, and adherence to company policies and standards
