Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate at NWK-NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ. You will help customers shop, locate products, and deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience while supporting truck unloading, stocking, and planogram upkeep.

Enrollment in the Rewards program and VOC surveys are part of the role. Team Members assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS), maintain stock, and uphold store recovery standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Lift heavy boxes and perform stocking tasks as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash transactions.
• Promote Michaels Rewards program and enroll customers.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and participate in omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and general store recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
