Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will support the Store Manager in daily tasks and help create a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities include assisting with opening and closing procedures, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor, maintaining displays, processing payroll and scheduling, and helping ensure store safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotions and store fixtures/display effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, records (scheduling, payroll, cash handling).
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Enforce safety policies and supervise/store associates development.
