Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, merchandise handling, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for customers and staff.

The role emphasizes team supervision, training, and adherence to company policies, with responsibilities spanning payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention. This is a part-time position at a retail store location.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on candidate
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties
• Strong communication and writing skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Customer service and organizational skills are essential
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas
• Protect and secure store assets including cash
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines
• Assist Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with customers and staff
• Keep bathrooms and store areas clean and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
