Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities and organize merchandise from delivery to floor, ensuring seasonal areas are maintained.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, following corporate directives, maintaining displays, processing payroll and schedules, and helping train store associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise from truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and store communications from corporate leadership.
• Maintain storefront fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
