Job summary

Equip-Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Rest Area Attendant in Sonora, TX. Under supervision, you will maintain landscaping and grounds, ensure cleanliness of the rest area, and use appropriate supplies and equipment.

You will perform custodial tasks, clean bathrooms, mow lawns, trim, and report maintenance issues. Must be reliable, 18+, HS diploma, one year experience, English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and landscaping methods.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing on-site custodial and grounds contract work at the assigned location site and ensuring contract specifications are met.
• Assist with stripping and waxing floors and carpet cleaning if requested in the contract.
• Inform Supervisor of maintenance repairs or service required immediately.
• Provide feedback to Supervisor concerning successes and problems.
• Provide reports, paperwork, and timecards to Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Ensure health and safety of staff and all visitors at the site.
• Maintain safety and first aid supplies; contact Supervisor to order replacements.
