Job summary

EQUIP Enterprises, Inc in Sulphur Springs, TX is hiring a Safety Rest Area Attendant (Maintenance) to maintain landscaping and rest area cleanliness under supervisor. You will operate groundskeeping equipment and follow safety procedures.

Priority given to persons with disabilities per contract. Must have HS diploma, 1 year experience, and English proficiency. Join a team focused on compassionate culture and job skills training for disabled veterans and others with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of landscaping methods and equipment.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate groundskeeping tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• On-site custodial and grounds work to meet contract specs.
• Clean bathrooms, floors, lunch/break rooms, trash, dust, windows.
• Mow, trim, rake, leaf blow, and perform general grounds upkeep.
• Inform Supervisor of maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain safety and use of hazardous materials per procedures.
• Complete timecards and paperwork and report to Supervisor.
