Job summary

Relocity is redefining global mobility by combining human expertise with technology to deliver personalized relocation experiences for employees and enterprises. The Part-Time Relocation Consultant will guide clients through every relocation stage, coordinating moves and delivering white-glove service across the San Francisco Peninsula, with remote work 60–70% and in-person support 30–40% in Burlingame and surrounding areas.

Flexible scheduling and strong local knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in the USA.
• Minimum 5 years of residency in the San Francisco Peninsula region, with extensive knowledge of the local rental market, education system, and registration processes.
• Preference for someone based in the Mid–Peninsula Bay Area—ideally between Palo Alto and Burlingame.
• Must own a reliable, registered, and insured 4-door vehicle with a valid driver’s license for area tours and rental searches.
• Flexibility to dedicate at least 20 hours per week to this role.
• Must be flexible and available to work weekends.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Prior personal relocation or moving assistance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients and their employees through every stage of the relocation process with a white-glove approach.
• Coordinate moves and handle key logistical details to deliver a high-touch experience.
• Manage schedule within flexible company policies to ensure availability for clients.
• Develop strong relationships with relocating employees and understand their needs and concerns.
• Provide expert guidance on neighborhoods, transportation options, and local culture.
• Conduct housing and school research, including rental trends and school ratings.
• Assist with essential services such as DMV registration and banking setup.
• Curate personalized recommendations for social, cultural, and lifestyle activities.
• Deliver customized client reports using Relocity’s software.
• Coordinate and lead area tours, in person or virtual.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with relocating employees via phone, email, video calls, or in person.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the relocation journey.
• Efficiently manage multiple relocations at various stages.
• Handle administrative responsibilities including updating client records.
