Job summary

Stange Law Firm, PC is seeking a Part-Time Recruiting Intern to support the Recruiting Director as the St. Louis area headquarters moves to Creve Coeur. The role offers hands‑on experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, and HR operations while providing exposure to a growing multi‑state family law firm.

The position emphasizes student or recent graduate participation, flexible hours Monday–Friday, and the chance to build interviewing and hiring skills in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Typing speed of approximately 45 WPM or higher.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent attendance and professionalism.
• Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources.
• Prior recruiting, staffing, customer service, or office experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contacting, screening, and interviewing applicants for full‑time and part‑time positions.
• Assist with managing the Firm's Applicant Tracking System.
• Assist with posting and maintaining job openings across multiple recruiting platforms.
• Help review applications, resumes, assessments, and interview materials.
• Assist with background checks, employment references, and pre‑employment documentation.
• Support various Human Resources and recruiting initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with applicants, universities, community organizations, and recruiting partners.
• Assist with recruiting reports, hiring metrics, and special projects.
• Work collaboratively with Firm leadership and other departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
