Job summary

Department of Juvenile Justice in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Part-Time Recruiter for the Metro RYDC. The role involves recruiting for JJ facilities, coordinating job fairs, posting positions, and using Taleo/GA Careers to screen applicants.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with less than 29 hours per week and no benefits. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree and strong HR recruiting experience, with ability to establish recruitment plans and build community partnerships.

Qualifications

Associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of related HR experience.
Equivalent combination of education and job-specific experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Two (2) or more years recruiting experience in human resources or related field.

Responsibilities

This is an in-person position with a schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Establish recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans and meeting with managers and HR staff.
Builds applicant sources by researching community services, colleges, military installations and outreach programs.
Coordinate and attend job fairs and post positions to recruit for hard-to-fill roles.
Provide consultation to managers on HR policies and procedures and use Taleo or Team GA Careers.
