Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of related experience in human resources.
• Equivalent combination of education and job-specific experience substituted year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and meeting with managers to discuss needs, create recruitment plans.
• Builds applicant sources by researching community services, colleges, military installations outreach programs and other sources.
• Builds relationships with partners.
• Reviews applications to determine if the applicant meets the qualifications.
• Coordinating and attending job fairs.
• Provides consultation to managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Posting job announcements and screening applicants using applicant tracker and Taleo.
• Updates knowledge by educational opportunities and professional organizations.
• Research area locations to determine best recruiting strategies.
• Some day and overnight travel may be required.
