Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for school and afternoon cases in Florida. This part-time role offers 9-20 hours per week and involves directly assisting children with autism to develop communication, social interaction, and self-care skills within ABA interventions.

You will work under a BCBA, observe progress, and contribute to data collection while collaborating with families and a supportive team to drive meaningful change in children’s lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active RBT Certification with Medicaid Credentials.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Pass background check.
• Experience with children is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, and timely manner.
• Participates in continuous training programs to increase skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
