Job summary

Hallmark Management is seeking a Part-Time Property Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a multifamily Tax Credit/HUD property and supervise the onsite property team.

This entrepreneurial role focuses on leasing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, with a strong emphasis on leadership and resident relations. The position requires weekly schedule flexibility and weekend availability to support operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year on-site property management experience with leasing and bookkeeping for Class C/D communities.
• Yardi / Bluemoon experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to lead a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with property management and accounting software.
• Ability to review, understand, and report financial information.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques and budgeting.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines; flexible schedule including weekends.
• Valid driver's license and Fair Housing Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial performance by overseeing rents, occupancy, and expenditures.
• Supervise resident retention, renewal and leasing programs to maximize occupancy.
• Oversee resident relations, including calls, requests and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with policy and federal/local regulations.
• Train and counsel onsite staff effectively.
• Oversee daily leasing paperwork and service requests completion.
• Analyze monthly performance and budget projections; discuss with Regional Property Manager.
• Complete annual asset business plans and budget forecasts.
• Audit lease files and adhere to lease file policy with consistency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
