Job summary

The Hallmark Company is actively seeking a Property Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a multifamily Tax Credit/HUD property and to supervise the onsite property team. The role calls for an entrepreneurial mindset to lead and grow the business.

Responsibilities include managing rents and occupancy, supervising leasing programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, coaching staff, and preparing annual asset business plans with budget forecasts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year onsite property management experience with leasing and bookkeeping knowledge for Class C/D communities.
• Yardi/Bluemoon experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial performance by overseeing rents, occupancies, and expenditures.
• Supervise leasing programs and resident retention to maximise occupancy.
• Oversee resident relations and respond to calls and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and local/federal regulations.
• Train and counsel onsite staff.
• Oversee leasing paperwork and service requests.
• Analyze monthly performance and budget projections; discuss strategies with Regional Property Manager.
• Audit lease files and ensure policy adherence.
• Additional duties as assigned.
