Job summary

The Hallmark Company is seeking a Part-Time Property Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a multifamily Tax Credit/HUD property. You will supervise the onsite team, manage leasing programs, and ensure compliance with policy and regulations.

The role requires experience in on-site property management, strong communication, and the ability to multitask with a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year on-site property management experience including leasing and bookkeeping for Class C/D communities.
• Yardi/Bluemoon experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written English communication; ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and exposure to property management/accounting software.
• Ability to review, understand and report financial information; budget understanding.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques and budgeting.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines; flexible schedule including weekends.
• Must be able to tour the community with clients, including stairs.
• Fair Housing Certificate required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial performance of the property by overseeing rents, occupancies and expenditures.
• Supervise resident retention, renewal and leasing programs to maintain maximum occupancy.
• Oversee resident relations, including taking resident calls, requests and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and federal/local regulations.
• Manage, train and counsel onsite staff.
• Oversee daily leasing paperwork and proper completion of service requests.
• Analyze monthly performance and budget projections; discuss strategies with Regional Property Manager.
• Complete annual asset business plans and budget forecasts.
• Assigns and proofs all leasing paperwork; audit lease files for consistency.
