Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to oversee before/after school programs across district sites. The role focuses on safe, engaging activities that promote a love of learning, while coordinating with staff and families to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate will manage competing priorities, have experience with children (including special needs awareness), and hold related credentials or coursework.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in child-related field from DCY-approved program.
• Four college-level courses in Child Development or Early Childhood Education + 2 years of ECE experience.
• CDA credential with 2 years ECE experience.
• Prekindergarten associate license or Montessori credential with ECE experience.
• Career Pathways Level 3 credential.
• CPL 1/2 with ECE experience and CPL progression within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and joy standards; keep site documents and licensing up to date.
• Support families and staff with clear communication and trust.
• Manage attendance procedures and student check-in/check-out.
• Implement daily activities and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
• Coordinate with Area Manager to achieve program goals.
