Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support resident services in affordable housing communities. You will help create a monthly calendar of developmental activities and essential resources, prioritize services, and lead donations and volunteer efforts.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and enjoys engaging with residents of all ages while coordinating programs and reporting on activities.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work 2-3 days per week; Hours are 9-2pm (Monday- Friday)
• Experience in education, social work, non-profit or related field; volunteer experience considered
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or senior citizens in various capacities
• Ability to work independently without supervision and multitask
• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with community and social service resources
• Must attend quarterly team meetings (once per quarter)
• Comfortable using company-issued technology (iPad) and basic applications for communication, reporting, and program tracking

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming atmosphere to residents; act as initial contact at the community center.
• Prepare reports on calendar usage, sign-in sheets, and program hours.
• Create and post monthly calendars and flyers; door-to-door distribution on-site.
• Oversee program offerings; recruit volunteers; solicit donations; collaborate with partners.
• Log communications with volunteers and partners; submit monthly logs.
• Provide information about local resources to residents.
• Engage residents in program planning; relay needs to staff.
• Monitor interactions with residents of all ages.
• Maintain sign-in sheets for all activities.
• Manage petty cash and replenish supplies.
• Supervise the community center and keep it clean and organized.
• Maintain PRS binders and documents for review.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
