PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC. is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support residents in affordable housing communities. The role focuses on CORES certified resident services to enhance knowledge, healthy lifestyles, and family development.

The ideal candidate thrives independently, is organized, and passionate about social and economic change. Hours are 12:00–5:00, 2–3 days per week, with occasional evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, social work, non-profit or related field.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a flexible environment.
• Familiarity with community resources and social services.
• Home computer, email access, and light printing capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming atmosphere and serve as initial contact at the community center.
• Prepare reports from monthly calendar, sign-in sheets, and contracted program hours.
• Design and post monthly calendars and on-site flyers; distribute door-to-door.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, partner with community groups.
• Log communications with volunteers and donors; submit monthly activity logs.
• Provide information on local resources to residents and stakeholders.
• Coordinate resident participation and convey needs to staff to address them.
• Monitor and supervise the community center; keep it clean and organized.
