PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC. is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to strengthen ties with affordable housing communities.

You will create and manage a monthly calendar of developmental activities and essential resources, oversee donations and volunteer efforts, and provide information on local resources to residents. You should be organized, self-disciplined, and enthusiastic about social and economic improvement, capable of multi-tasking, and comfortable using standard apps and iPad

Qualifications

Experience in education, social work, non-profit or related field preferred.
Ability to work independently and multitask.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming atmosphere and serve as the first point of contact at the community center.
Prepare reports based on calendars and activity hours.
Design, publish and distribute monthly calendars and flyers on-site.
Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, and collaborate with partners.
Maintain sign-in sheets and track program participation.
Inform residents about local resources and assist with program planning.
Monitor interactions with residents of all ages and manage petty cash and supplies.
Ensure orderly use of the community center and organized documentation for management.
Attend quarterly team meetings as required.
