Job summary

South Suburban Parks and Recreation in Littleton is seeking an Event Venue Representative for Hudson Gardens. This part-time, non-exempt role represents the venue for private events, ensuring events run smoothly and enforcing venue policies.

Typical hours are 6 to 30 per week with flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include coordinating vendors, opening/closing venues, and verifying timelines and guest safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of client service experience.
• Previous party host/hospitality experience preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Hudson Gardens representative for private events including weddings, life celebrations, corporate functions, birthdays, and other gatherings.
• Opens and closes venues per event guidelines and procedures.
• Greets and directs vendors, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Communicates accurate information to vendors, attendees, patrons and staff.
• Monitors event timelines to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Oversees post-event procedures, including vendor cleanup and setup.
